FOR DELHI SECONDARY SCHOOL EXAMINATION(CLASS XII)

Candidate who has been declared as FAIL at the Delhi Senior School Certificate Examination(Class XII)
Note: Candidate applying under COMPARTMENT category cannot apply for appearing in Additional subject together.
Candidate placed under COMPARTMENT category in March 2018 and July 2019 to apply only in the subject in which he/she has been placed in Compartment. Candidate applying under COMPARTMENT category cannot apply for appearing in Additional subject together. Such candidates who have been placed in compartment in one subject may opt for appearing in same the 5/6 subjects afresh in which he/she had appeared in March 2019 examination. Such candidates should select their category as FAILURE while applying online.
Note: Candidate applying for Improvement of Performance cannot apply for appearing in Additional subject together.
Candidate who has passed the examination of the Board in 2017 can apply in 2019 for Improving his/her performance in one or more subjects provided he/she should have appeared (and passed) in these subjects in the examination held in March 2019. Candidate who has passed Class XII under vocational stream in 2016 can also apply for improving his/her performance in the examination to be held in 2018 provided he/she has not availed the chance in 2019. Candidate who has passed the examination of the Board in 2018 and willing to appear in JEE (Main)- 2019 can also apply in 2019 for Improving his/her performance in one or more subjects provided he/she should have appeared in these subjects in the examination held in March 2016. Special Instruction for JEE Aspirants:. As per the eligibility notified for JEE-2019 candidates desirous of seeking admission in IITs/NITs/IIITs/other CFTIs should have scored 75 % (65 % For SC/ST candidates) or in top 20 percentile of XII Examination held in 2017/ 2018. Therefore, the candidates of 2017/2018 desiring to appear in the IOP may apply for one or more subjects in which he/she had appeared in Main Examination of class 12th in 2016/2017. For any clarification regarding eligibility candidates may approach JEE Apex Board.
Note: Candidate applying for Additional Subject cannot apply for appearing for Improvement of Performance together
Candidate who has passed Board examination can apply for an Additional subject from the list of subjects enclosed, within 06 years of passing the examination (candidates passed in 2012/2013/2014/2015/2016/2017/2018 are eligible to apply). However, candidate cannot apply for a subject involving practical work. Candidates are allowed to take subjects having project component.

CATEGORY ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
FULL SUBJECT (5/6 SUBJECTS) Candidate who has been declared as ‘NIOP’ at the Delhi Secondary School Examination(Class X)
UPGRADING OF PERFORMANCE Note: Candidate applying for Upgrading of Performance cannot apply for appearing in Additional subject together. Candidate who has passed the examination of the Board in the year 2017 may apply for Upgrading his/her performance in one or more subjects. He/she should have appeared in the same subjects in the examination held in March 2017.
ADDITIONAL SUBJECT Note: Candidate applying for Additional Subject cannot apply for appearing for Upgrading of performance together Candidate who has passed Board examination can apply for an Additional subject from the list of subjects enclosed, within 06 years of passing the examination (candidates passed in 2012/2013/2014/2015/2016/2017 can apply). However, the candidate is not allowed subject involving practical work.
GENERAL INFORMATION APPLICABLE BOTH FOR X AND XII
1.Candidate will have to send Photostat copy of the Mark-sheet/Grade sheet cum Certificate of Performance of the Roll No. filled in the application form and copy of e-challan/DD along with the confirmation page to the concerned Regional Office. Fresh female candidate appearing under Delhi Scheme will also have to send the Affidavit.
2. Examination centre once allotted will be final and no request for change of examination center will be attended to. Examination center will be allotted by the Board based on the current residential address of applicant.
3. Aadhar number field provided is mandatory. Wherever Aadhar number is not available; Aadhar enrolment number can be provided. Residents of Indian states where Aadhar enrolment is not being done may provide Bank details in lieu of Aadhar.
4. Candidates will be able to apply only for subjects which are auto generated in the system. In case there is any subject which is not in the auto-generated system and applicant want to apply in that subject, they should give such request to the Regional Office by Speed Post along with Fee and other documents required. However candidature of such candidates will be subject to availability of that subject and eligibility.
5. Fresh (New) Roll Number will be allotted by the Board for the candidate appearing in 2019. In no case the candidate will be allowed to appear with the previous year’s Roll No.
6. Admit Card:
(a) For other than Delhi region
Candidates will be able to download the Admit Cards from the website of CBSE www.cbse.nic.in in the month of Feb 2019. (b) For candidates of Delhi region
Intimation letter will be uploaded on the website of CBSE in respect of eligible candidates only in the month of Jan/Feb 2019. Centre of Examination and date sheet is indicated in the intimation letter. Such candidate can thereafter collect Admit card from the allotted examination center.
7. Declaration of Result
Result will be declared on the website of CBSE during the month of May/Jun 2019. 8. Issue of Mark sheet/Certificate Class X
a) Mark sheet/Grade sheet will be issued to the candidates in the month of Jun/Jul 2019.
b) Only single document “Grade sheet cum qualifying certificate” is issued by CBSE.
c) Original mark-sheet and certificate of previous year examination is not to be surrendered to the CBSE.
d) Candidate appearing for Upgrading of Performance(Class X) and Additional subject will be issued a separate fresh Grade sheet reflecting the grades of IOP 2019 examination only.
9. Issue of Marksheet/Certificate Class XII
a) Mark sheet/Grade sheet will be issued to the candidates in the month of Jun/Jul 2018.
b) Original mark-sheet and certificate of previous year examination is not to be surrendered to the CBSE.
c) Candidate appearing for Improvement of Performance (Class XII) will be issued a separate fresh mark-sheet reflecting the marks of IOP 2019 examination only. No fresh Certificate will be issued to the candidate appearing under the categories IMPROVEMENT OF PERFORMANCE(CLASS XII AND ADDITIONAL SUBJECT.
d) Consolidated mark sheet will be issued only to such candidate who appear and pass the Comptt. Examination in 2019.
10. Dispatch of original of Mark sheet/Certificate Class X/XII
(a) For other than Delhi region
Grade sheet is sent by CBSE to the examination center of the candidate/to the residential address of applicant by Speed Post. (b) For candidates of Delhi region
Marksheet/Certificate is sent by CBSE to the examination center of the candidate. Candidate can collect the document from the center on production of original admit card.
11. Candidate will be examined only in the Syllabus as prescribed for the year of Examination. The Student must go through the eligibility and pass criteria as well as current curriculum and scheme of studies www.cbseacademic.in/curriculum.html carefully before filling the form.
Instructions to fill Online Private Application form
Note: Candidate details in respect of students who have appeared in the Board examination held in 2018 examination will be auto-generated in the online system. Candidates of 2017 (or prior) will need to submit the details on the online application form.
• Put correct combination of your Roll number, School number and Centre number (as given in your mark sheet) of Board Examination.
• In case wrong details are filled the application will be processed and error message will be displayed.
• Student can fill only one application form. In case your application is already submitted you will not be allowed to apply again.
• Name, Father’s name, Mother’s name will be auto generated.
• Applicant will be required to provide contact number, email ID and address. Phone number should be of 10 digits and should contain numbers only.
• Region will be automatically generated based on the current residential address. For the Private examination- 2018, controlling region for the candidate will be decided by the online system based on the current residential address entered by the applicant in the online system. For example: if candidate has appeared in class XII main examination from Varanasi (Regional Office Allahabad) and is now residing at Jaipur, the centre of examination will made in the jurisdiction of Regional Office, Ajmer if the candidate writes his residential address as Jaipur. However, eligibility of such a case for appearing in examination will be decided by the RO Allahabad.
• Applicant need to upload scanned jpg files of their Photo and signature not exceeding 40 KB in size.
• The code number of subject and medium should be entered very carefully, after comparing with previous marks statements if available. Particular care should be taken for indicating the code against languages as there are two types of courses. For medium code write 1 for English and 2 for Hindi. For language medium code is not required.
• Make sure you have selected bank where you want to deposit the fee and country. These are mandatory fields.
• Email Id should be in correct format.
• Female fresh candidates of Delhi Scheme will be required to upload scanned copy of affidavit and submit the same to Regional Office, Delhi along with with confirmation page.
• Visually challenged candidates will be required to upload the scanned copy of Medical Certificate (Disability Certificate) in the concerned Regional Office from where he/she want to appear along with confirmation page.
Last STEP: Submission of Confirmation Page
Applicant should sign the confirmation page. After Fee payment printout of confirmation page, copy of mark sheet, affidavit

along with proof of deposited Fee should be sent to ‘Regional Officer, CBSE Regional Office” as per address given above within stipulated schedule.
If Fee is send through DD (only in respect of foreign candidates); Application No. and Roll No./Year of candidate must be written on backside of the Demand Draft.
Note: If candidate has made any mistake in subjects/information entered he/she should contact the Regional Office concerned alongwith the copy of confirmation page and request for correction.
